The Prince of Art
The appealing quality of Ibrahim Al Nashashibi's art lies in its universality. The themes of his paintings reflect the creative world and imagination within his soul. His paintings speak of the passions of life, relationships between man and woman, and the depictions of life in Jerusalem portrayed as the City of Love and as the Mother of Humanity. The colorful images are brought to light with creative use of acrylics, water color, as well as mixed media.

The creative soul and artistic style of Ibrahim Al Nashashibi were formed in the old city of Jerusalem where he was born. His family roots are deeply embedded in old Jerusalem. Going back hundreds of years, his ancestors have been prominent citizens and have included well-known poets, writers, politicians as well religious leaders such as a great great grandfather "prince Nasser Aldeen Al-Nashashibi."

This seal which was handed down from one ancestor to another, is still to be seen over one of the seven gates entering Jerusalem. Prince Nasser Aldeen Al-Nashashibi held the title "Nather" which means "supervisor of the holy Places of Jerusalem.
